Yale Doorman L3S has a modern and stylish design. The lock is compact, especially on the inside, making it ideal for mounting on double doors and climate doors, not only for aesthetic reasons but also for functionality. The sense of quality is enhanced by the available finishes; polished chrome, brushed steel or powder-coated matte black, all of which add an exclusive look to the door. The Doorman L3S smart lock is the most secure smart lock we have ever produced. Yale Doorman L3S is FG-approved in class 3S, which means that the entire lock, including the mechanical part, the app, and the entire communication line for remote control, is approved. With Yale Doorman L3S, you can lock and unlock your door wherever you are. You get keyless access, automatic locking and unlocking when you come and go, the ability to see who's visiting and when, issue virtual keys to guests - and should you be unsure if you locked the door, you can quickly check. All of this is controlled via the Yale Home app, which allows you to secure, monitor and control access to your home from your smartphone, wherever you are. You can now also integrate your Doorman L3S smart lock with popular smart home systems, voice assistants or vacation rental platforms for easier control and access management. The Doorman L3S also comes with a built-in doorbell. When someone rings the doorbell, the door lock will emit an audible signal inside the house, as well as send a notification via the Yale Home app to all connected devices. This means you'll be alerted if someone rings the doorbell, even when you're not home. AUTOMATIC LOCKING AND UNLOCKING.

When you approach your front door, the door will automatically unlock using geofencing, as long as you have your phone with you. There's no need to search through pockets and bags for keys. The system can also be set up to lock the door automatically when it closes. SAFE AND SECURE. A Yale Home account is secured with two-factor authentication, which requires identity verification via email or phone number. In addition to Bluetooth security, we use AES and TLS encryption, known as bank-level security. If you lose your phone, you can quickly disable the Yale Home app and all virtual keys.

With the Yale Home app, you can send secure keys to family, friends and trusted people, wherever you are. You retain full control.  

SIMPLE ASSEMBLY.

Doorman L3S is a complete locking unit. You simply remove the door handle, cylinder and lock box and replace them with the Doorman L3S. Assembly is easier than before, and if you are used to using tools, the job can be done quickly. Watch our video for instructions on fitting the Doorman L3S to your front door.  

DIRECT NOTIFICATION.

You will be notified immediately if a problem occurs with the lock. With Smart Notifications you can customize which notifications you want to receive on your smartphone.  

DIGITAL LOCK BOX.

Doorman L3S has a digitally encrypted lock box that ensures high security. The lock box informs whether the door is closed properly and whether it is locked or unlocked. In the event of unexpected events, such as the door being left ajar, you will be notified first. The lock box will trigger an alarm signal if someone tries to break into the door.

Yale works with providers of smart home systems, voice assistants and vacation rental platforms to offer easy control and access management*. *Requires installation and setup of the included Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge for external functionality and integrations, such as voice assistant.

BATTERY LIFE.

You will receive a notification when the batteries are nearing the end of their life. The duration of the batteries depends on the number of locks and unlocks per day. With average use, the batteries will last between 9 to 12 months, depending on use and connection.
