Linus® smart lock is a secure door lock that you can lock and unlock wherever you are. Here you get keyless entry, you can see who is coming and when they arrive, give visitors virtual keys - and if you wonder if you forgot to lock the door, you can easily check it.

You can do all of this using the Yale Home app. With this app, you can secure, monitor and control access to your home using a smartphone, wherever you are.

    Use your smartphone or Apple Watch as a key. With Linus® smart lock, you can unlock and re-lock the door with the Yale Home app, wherever you are*.

  • AUTOMATIC LOCKING AND UNLOCKING.

    When you arrive home and approach the front door, the door is automatically unlocked thanks to geofencing, provided you have your phone with you. You don't have to search through your pockets and purse to find the key. You can configure the system to automatically lock the door when it closes.

 

  • SAFE AND SECURE.

    A Yale Home account is protected with two-factor authentication, which means you must verify your identity with either an email address or a phone number. In addition to the security inherent in Bluetooth, we use AES and TLS encryption, which is often referred to as bank-level security. If you lose your phone, you can easily disable the Yale Home app and all virtual keys.

 

  • GIVE ACCESS - NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE.

    You can send secure keys to family, friends, and others you trust, wherever you are, using the Yale Home app. You are always in full control.

 

  • PROBLEM-FREE INSTALLATION.

    Linus® the smart lock is easy to install - you unscrew your existing button turner that you have on the inside of the door and screw up Linus® in stead of. The assembly is done in a very short time. Watch our video to find out how to mount Linus® on your front door.

 

  • DIRECT NOTIFICATION.

    If something happens to the lock on the door, you will be notified immediately.

 

  • DOOR SENSE-TECHNOLOGY.

    Lets you know if the door is properly closed or not. If something unexpected happens, for example if the door is left ajar, you will be the first to know.

 

  • COMPREHENSIVE COOPERATION.

    Yale collaborates with, among other things, suppliers of smart home systems and voice assistants and holiday rental platforms for easy control and access management*.

  • BATTERY LIFE.

    You will be notified when the batteries start to run out. The life of the batteries depends on the number of twists per locking, how easily the lock can be unlocked and the number of unlocking and re-locking per day. With average use, the batteries will last from six to nine months.
